Description
Although clairin is traditionally consumed young and unaged, it is clear that aging can give it a whole new dimension. This Vieux Vaval, aged in ex-Single Malt Whisky casks, was bottled on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky. It comes to us from the Arawaks distillery, stronghold of the Vaval brand, which distilled the juices of the “Madame Meuze” sugar cane variety, grown on the great terroir of Cavaillon.
This is one of the very first aged clairins, released in 2021 after 6 years of tropical aging.
