Although clairin is traditionally consumed young and unaged, it is clear that aging can bring it a whole new dimension.
This Vieux Casimir is a 5-year-old clairin directly from the Faubert Casimir distillery, highlighting the Baradères terroir. It was distilled in 2015, aged in ex-single malt casks from the Benriach distillery, before being bottled at its natural strength.
