Winegrowers & Traveling Distillers: an unchanging bond
The former are firmly and courageously anchored to their roots and their terroir. The latter, as itinerant magicians, daring nomads, come to transcend all the work of a year. A story confusing individualism and sharing, trust and abnegation, which for one night will give birth to the most beautiful gift.
Itinerant distillation at the heart of the Nomade series
Whether you call them traveling distillers, mobile distillers or nomads, they seem to travel through time like stars reflecting their own light for thousands of years. They are as rare as they are virtuosic, as if stuck between two worlds but always finding enough energy to replenish yet another season. One more to continue writing a story that continues sheltered from the passage of time and that flies over the ages.
This story, human above all and so important, they write it only a few weeks a year, abandoning their daily life for a short time to pursue traditions. An ancestral heritage, surviving since knowledge has been lost and profitability has interfered in the smallest corners of our society. Going through both economic and climatic crises, only a handful remain. To resist. And do not think that they can live from it and devote themselves fully to it, the activity is as ephemeral as it is fragile, on the verge of extinction listening to the world.

Their dedication, since that is indeed what it is, is of capital importance: without their self-sacrifice, how many Armagnac producers would go out of business, unable to finance the purchase of a still or time to deal with it? A lot. Too much. The bond that unites them is both fragile and precious. Crucial. Nomadic.
These characters, like superheroes straight out of an old black and white film, succeed in the incredible challenge of outwitting time and winning precious moments, snippets that will surely shape future generations.
