Another gem (and that's an understatement) released on the occasion of Velier's 70th anniversary, which is far too rarely mentioned: a Cognac distilled in 1922 (yes, 1922) that comes to us from François Voyer in Grande Champagne. A bottle in homage to Luca Gargano's father.

Here is what Luca Gargano said about it at the time of its marketing:
"My father is still the most brilliant and lucid brain of Velier. When I wanted to release a special bottling to celebrate Velier's 70th anniversary, I realized that he was almost 100 years old... It was very difficult to find distillates from the same year of birth! After a long search in the paradises of Tesseron and Voyer, we found a few liters of Cognac, distilled in 1922! Luciano is not only our father. He is my Master, my Guru, an exceptional father, an extraordinary grandfather. Velier would never have existed without him."
