Description
Single cask from the late Nine Leaves, the Japanese distillery founded in 2013 by Yoshiharu Takeuchi.
More precisely, it is the marriage of 3 types of rums distilled in 2016, produced from sugar cane grown on three different islands: Iriomote, Hateruma and Takeuchi. Each of the rums was then aged independently in 3 different casks for 3 years, before everything was blended and matured for an additional 2 years in an acacia cask.
Limited edition of 350 bottles
This bottling is part of a trio of single casks released in 2020, known as Japoniani because of the labels designed by Luca Gargano on a flight from Japan to Italy. In addition to a Savanna HERR 2006, you can find a Karukera rum from 2009 and a Nine Leaves rum (Japan) from 2016.
