In 2001 Velier joined forces with Demerara Distillers Ltd and selected rums that have since become legendary. Thanks to his friendship with the late Yesu Persaud, Luca Gargano had the extreme privilege of choosing barrels directly from DDL's warehouses, which he offered barrel strength and entirely aged in a tropical climate.
