Description
Velier Albion 1986 Full Proof Old Demerara is a 25 year old rum, bottled in 2011 (from cask 10546). the Mark AW refers to Port Mourant's double wooden still, tuned to produce an Albion-specific profile.
In 2001 Velier joined forces with Demerara Distillers Ltd and selected rums that have since become legendary. Thanks to his friendship with the late Yesu Persaud, Luca Gargano thus had the extreme privilege of choosing barrels directly from the DDL warehouses, which he offered cask-strength and fully aged in a tropical climate.
