Description
Velier Uitvlugt 1996 Full Proof Old Demerara, distilled in 1996 and bottled after 18 years of tropical aging from four barrels in July 2014. The reference (mark) Modified GS indicates that it was produced with the four-column Savalle still from the Diamond distillery in Guyana.
Limited edition of 1124 copies.
In 2001 Velier joined forces with Demerara Distillers Ltd and selected rums that have since become legendary. Thanks to his friendship with the late Yesu Persaud, Luca Gargano thus had the extreme privilege of choosing barrels directly from the DDL warehouses, which he offered cask-strength and fully aged in a tropical climate.
