Velier & Silver Seal Serie Cedro
Description
The idea for this precious "Serie Cedro" box was born during an afternoon spent in Velier where, following a strong storm, a century-old cedar fell. So, in order not to waste a wood so full of history, it was decided to use it to make this box which includes 6 exceptional bottlings, each in 70cl format:
Worthy Park WPL 2005 (54.8%)
Aged 17 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2022. A limited edition of 178 copies. WPL stands for Worthy Park Light.
Hampden C<>H 2010 (63%)
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022, this rum from Hampden has aged 12 years in a single cask, always in an entirely tropical climate.
Vale Royal VRW 2005 (61.3%)
Distillery closed in 1959, this rum is a tribute to Vale Royal. Distilled in 2005, it will have aged 17 years in a single cask, entirely in Jamaica.
Foursquare 2002 (56%)
Aged 19 years in Scotland, this Foursquare 2002 was bottled in 2022 by the Silver Seal company. A limited edition of only 190 copies.
Uitvlugt 1990 (56.2%)
Named after an old distillery in Guyana, this Uitvlugt rum was distilled in 1990 and aged for 31 years in the continental climate of Scotland, before being bottled in 2022 by Silver Seal.
Diamond 2003 (53.3%)
This Demerara Diamond 2003 rum has aged for 18 years in Scotland, before being bottled in 2022, again by the Italian company Silver Seal.
