Description
The first white rum from the Seychelles selected by Velier, Habitation Velier Takamaka rum was produced from sugar cane grown on the granite soil of the island of Mahé.
After distillation of the cane juice in a traditional pot still (a hybrid pot still and column still) at the Trois Frères distillery in La Plaine Saint-André, the rum was reduced to 56% before being bottled without additives.
This Pure Single Rum has a congener content of 466.2 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol, of which 12.2 grams are esters.
