Mount Gilboa is the former name of the distillery now known as Mount Gay, the oldest distillery according to the history books. It then belonged to the Ward family (since the beginning of the 20th century) before becoming the full property of Rémy Cointreau in 2014 (the date on which production of Mount Gilboa rum will definitively stop).
