Description

This Bally 1939 is one of the first vintages marketed by the Martinique distillery, offered in a 70cl bottle and with an alcohol content of 45°. Living proof of Jacques Bally's avant-gardism regarding the aging of agricultural rums of the time, this bottle is a vestige of another era....

Fiefdom of Bally rums, Habitation Lajus was bought in 1918 by Jacques Bally who decided to renovate it and build a distillery on the remains of the small sugar refinery. Installing a steam engine and a Creole column that he adapted himself, he began to produce rum that he would vintage from 1924.
