Description
Savanna Lontan 2003 is an old vintage Grand Arôme rum that has aged for 7 years on Reunion Island in an ex-Cognac cask (#167 precisely). Casked on 10/28/2003, it will be bottled on May 20, 2010 and will be available in only 764 numbered bottles.
What is a Grand Arôme? It is a rum resulting from a very long fermentation (5 to 10 days and more) of a mixture of vinasse and molasses which, under the action of specific yeast, will promote the development of bacteria, and thus give the rum very developed and much more powerful aromas.
