Lontan is the Grand Arôme range from the Savanna distillery, which here offers an 8-year-old version put in cask (ex-Cognac cask #171) on July 18, 2007 in a "humid" cellar. Selected in May 2016, the rum was bottled cask strength.

What is a Great Flavor? It is a rum resulting from a very long fermentation (5 to 10 days and more) of a mixture of vinasse and molasses which, under the action of specific yeast, will promote the development of bacteria, and thus give the rum very developed and much more powerful aromas.
