Velier Caroni 1994 Heavy "Hangar" version, bottled in 2012 after 18 years of tropical ageing. limited edition of 6943 bottles.Founded in 1918 in Trinidad and Tobago, Caroni is a state distillery which was running at full capacity until 1993 before closing definitively in 2002. Two years later, Luca Gargano discovered a dormant stock of a few thousand barrels, creating in no time an unprecedented craze.
Its bottlings are offered mostly cask strength and rums aged entirely in the tropics.
