Description
We owe this Caroni rum to the independent bottler Jack Tar, founded in 2017 by Lukasz Baranowski. He released his "Music! Series" collection to mix spirits and Caribbean music.
This Caroni, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2019 after 22 years of aging (from cask #5538), highlights Parang: a traditional music originating from Trinidad & Tobago, inherited from its Hispanic roots and derived from two Spanish words, "Parranda" which means "party" and "parar" which means "stop".
