Description
A 3-star Barbancourt is a rum aged for 4 years in oak barrels. The rum was produced from sugar cane juice and distilled with the Barbancourt three-column still.
The version presented here dates from the 1990s and mentions "Imported" on a collar with the age clearly written (4 years), which is generally not the case on the usual range. Another mention, "aged in oak", appears at the bottom of the label and will not fail to reassure the most cautious enthusiast :)
