Description
Nine Leaves "Angel's Half" is a Japanese rum made from unrefined brown sugar, which comes to us from the late Nine Leaves distillery founded in 2013 by Yoshiharu Takeuchi in the city of Otsu, near Tokyo.
Inspired by the techniques of making single malts, Yoshiharu distilled his rum twice, using two different pot stills. In terms of aging, this Angel's Half was aged in American oak barrels.
Note that there is another version of this Angel's Half (the other half :), this time aged in French oak barrels.
