Description
Nine Leaves is a traditional Japanese rum made from unrefined brown sugar, which comes to us from the late Nine Leaves distillery founded in 2013 by Yoshiharu Takeuchi in the city of Otsu, near Tokyo.
Inspired by the techniques of making single malts, Yoshiharu distilled his rums twice, using two different pot stills.
For this 3rd version of his "Encrypted" series, Yoshiharu Takeuchi offers a blend of rums aged in ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks, then passed into ex-Cabernet Sauvignon casks.
