This Appleton Dark was marketed in the 1990s. Offered here at 40% in a 70cl bottle in an "Imported" version, it also existed in an "overproof" version with the aptly named "Appleton 151 Dark Rum". (75.5%).
Older still, and which is intended to be the front of the Dark, we find the Appleton Punch which will be released at different degrees of bottling (75° proof (37.5°), 90 (45°) and 97° proof (48.5°) in the 1970s."
