Description
You may not have known it, but the Jamaican distillery Appleton one day released a 5 year old: this bottle can logically be considered as the ancestor of the Appleton V/X (for Very eXceptional, i.e. an age count of at least 5 years).
Marketed in the 1980s, it changed to Appleton V/X and abandoned its precise age count over time.
