Description
With its roots in Barbados, this Saint Nicholas Abbey rum was aged for 5 years at the distillery and comes from sugar cane grown on their own plantations. The aging, entirely tropical, took place in American white oak red barrels (former Foursquare barrels). The mention of "Single Cask" suggests that a blend of 5-year-old rums takes place in the same barrel before bottling.
There is also an "overproof" version of this 5-year-old, this time at 60%.
