Paul Giraud Très Rare
Description
The "Très Rare" cognac by Monsieur Paul Giraud is a 40-year-old spirit, making it the second oldest cognac in the range (behind the "Héritage" Cognac).
Its blend is made up of the finest and most complex Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie in the collection. It's simple, it is considered (by us and others) to be one of the best cognacs available today, no less.
Established in Bouteville since the 17th century, the Giraud family has perpetuated heritage and tradition from father to son. Maison Paul Giraud is even among the last to maintain the tradition of manual harvests, taking almost unhealthy care in winemaking and distillation. Everything is done in Bouteville, on their estate, and their particularly humid cellars give a rather remarkable mellowness to their eaux-de-vie.
