Paul Giraud Héritage
Description
Attention, nugget. If you want to get a slap in the face while drinking a Cognac, you've come to the right place. Héritage is a Grande Champagne cognac by Paul Giraud, made from three post-war harvests (the only one in the range): 1945, 1946 and 1947.
This is the oldest Cognac produced by the estate, having been aged for around 60 years in Limousin oak barrels in the family's humid cellars. A spirit with exceptional maturity, exquisite from start to finish and with an incredible persistence...
The rest is up to Mr Giraud himself:
"To be enjoyed with a moving thought for our ancestors who hoped for a better world, far from the worries and dramas of the war they had just suffered. They were keen to produce a cognac that would accompany the good times in life: the renewal of a peaceful world."
