Description
The Cognac Napoléon from François Voyer is a blend of 100% Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, aged from 14 to 20 years. A superb reference that we owe to the mastery of Pierre Vaudon.
The Cognacs from the Voyer house are distilled on lees and aged in new Limousin oak barrels with medium toast for 3 years, before being transferred to old barrels in a humid cellar. The reduction with distilled water is done very gradually (reducing the degree by natural evaporation) in order to bring the maximum finesse and complexity.
