Description
Christian Drouin's Experimental range aims to explore new, unexpected and technical associations between Calvados and the greatest spirits from all four corners of the world.
This Calle 23 Angels is a 10-year-old Calvados Pays d'Auge, which finished its aging in two old Calle 23 Tequila barrels. These barrels had previously contained Tequilas from the Los Altos region produced from Tequilana Weber agaves.
In the search for a perfect balance between the imprint of the agave and that of the apple, Calle 23 Angels is the blend of a finishing in Calle 23 barrels in a first fill of 13 months, and a second filling of these barrels with a 4-month refinement.
