Description
Here is a rather confidential - and vintage - rum from Foursquare: Old Barbados 1985 is a discovery of Richard Seale, master distiller of Foursquare, made in the reserves of the House of Alleyne Arthur.
It is originally a blend of rums distilled on a still and column more or less forgotten since 1985. In 1995, after 10 years of aging, the stock was put into vats, with the exception of 3 barrels that remained in the cellars. Three barrels that will have aged six additional years before finally being bottled in 2001.
However, it will be necessary to wait until 2015 for this Ol Barbados 1985 to be marketed, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary (that of the distillation, not that of Richard :p)
