Description
Renegade Pre-Cask Dunfermline Column is a white rum made from pure cane juice (here the Lacalome Red B80.689 variety) grown on a terroir called Mango Land, located in the mountains of Saint Andrew on the north-east coast of Grenada. This version was distilled on a double Coffey Still column (there is another version distilled in a Pot Still).
Founded in 2020 in Grenada by Mark Reynier (founder of Waterford whisky), the Renegade distillery emphasizes the notion of terroir and wishes to offer amateurs rums as complex and deep as the best whisky.
