Description
Produced from the juice of sugar cane grown in organic farming, Grogue (the local rum of Cape Verde) Barbosa Amado Vicente has been perpetuating Cape Verdean traditions since 1970.
The fermentation is wild and the distillation traditional: Manuel Barbosa Amado masterfully handles a 300-litre still heated over an open fire in the Monte Negro distillery.
