Description
Paranubes is the first rum from the country of Mezcal, Mexico.
Located north of Oaxaca, in the heart of the Sierra Mazateca mountains, the Carrera family has been producing “aguardiente de caña” (the equivalent of an agricultural white rum) for 3 generations. The cane, organic and cut by hand, is grown on an area of 14 hectares. Once the juice is pressed, the cane ferments spontaneously and without adding yeast.
The distillation takes place in a copper column that Jose Luis Carrera, the master distiller, masters to perfection. Production is artisanal from start to finish and no reduction is made on this rum.
