Description
Here is a rare opportunity to taste an old Matusalem rum produced at the original distillery in Santiago de Cuba founded in 1872 and before production ceased definitively in 1959, following the rise to power of Fidel Castro.
The brand will then be relaunched in 1995 by Claudio Alvarez, great-grandson of the founder, but this time the rum will be produced in the Dominican Republic.
The bottle on sale is an "Anejo Superior" marketed in the 1970s/1980s.
