Description
A historic vintage from the Reimonenq distillery, this "Grand Corsaire" aged rum was distilled in... 1945!
This is a unique opportunity to taste the rum produced by the Guadeloupean distillery, long before the "Reimonenq" brand was commercialized, and at a time when the two brothers Joseph and Ferdinand were still at the helm of the Sainte-Rose distillery (the late Lépold Reimonenq began his career in 1954).
The stock of aged rum was still very small at this point in history... Indeed, it wasn't until 1960 that the distillery acquired its first cellar with a capacity of 100 barrels.
