Description
Guilhem Grosperrin and his team bottled this 1970 Cognac, from a family of notaries who had been established in Cognac for several generations. This 1970 Petite Champagne was part of the father's estate, who had bequeathed his stocks to his wife and son, a notary like him.
This Cognac will have spent more than 50 years in oak barrels, including 40 years in "country cellars" rented by ORECO, and the last eleven years in the Grosperrin cellars.
Although we do not know the precise terroir of this Cognac, we do know that it comes from the surroundings of Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, and that the wines were distilled by a small distillery founded in 1958.
