Description
Old agricultural rum from the Saint Etienne distillery, marketed in the 1970s/1980s.
In 1927, Habitation Saint-Etienne was bought by the Simmonet family who developed and modernized it, ensuring growing success and even visibility in mainland France. The distillery was bought again in 1984, this time by the Dormoy family until its closure in 1988. It was then that production was transferred to the La Favorite distillery until the early 1990s.
In 1994, Yves and José Hayot bought HSE and moved the distillation column to Simon, where it still resides today.
