Description
Very rare bottle of Black Head rum from Bordeaux merchant Cazanove, released in the 1930s/40s...The Black Head brand was created and distributed by the Bordeaux merchant Cazanove, who was one of the very first to take an interest in rum, and this from 1878. The brand was bought much later (in the 1960s) by the Bardinet group , which at that time would buy out a good number of brands in decline. Originally a blend of rums from Jamaica, then from the West Indies, it will become under Bardinet a “special punch rum” (white) or “special cocktails” (amber), known as “traditional from the French islands”.
