Zacapa Centenario 23 Anos bottled in the 1980s
Description
A rare edition of Zacapa Centenario characterized by its covering made entirely of hand-woven palm leaves. The decoration will remain on the next traffic jams but in a much more discreet way.
This version was imported and distributed in Italy by the Arnolfini company in the 1980s.
The label of the bottle can still read "23 ANOS" which will be gradually replaced to avoid misunderstanding by consumers, Zacapa practicing the method Aging Solera which amounts to mixing young and old rums together during aging. It is therefore a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.
