Description

This is the very first version of the 1953 vintage from the Damoiseau distillery.

Unlike the 1953 carafe bottled in the early 2000s, this bottle dates from the very early 1980s. The rum was apparently forgotten in the cellars for a while before being bottled in 1984 at the impressive age of 31 years.

It is probably a blend of traditional and agricultural rum.
