Description
Very old Negrita rum dating from the 1950s, early 1960s, produced by the Bardinet company when it owned the Dillon distillery.
Négrita is a brand that we owe to the Bardinet company whose history dates back to 1857. First registered under the name La Négrita in 1886, the brand will then transform into Négrita and will eventually settle lastingly in the vast majority of French homes (and even well beyond).
Its logo, representing a West Indian woman, would even be one of the oldest characters in the history of French advertising. The rum is then made in Bordeaux, at the Domaine de Fleurenne. If the brand has become synonymous with cooking rum in the imagination, the vintage bottlings then offer a much more qualitative vision...
