Eggers & Franke is one of the leading distributors of wines and spirits on the German market, with a very rich family history dating back to 1804.
The Bremen company forged links with Jamaica very early on, becoming one of the most important Jamaican rum merchants from the 19th century. Bremen and the company Eggers & Franke thus played a dominant role in the following decades, not only for Germany, but for much of continental Europe.
This bottle of Jamaican rum is a holdover from the 1930s.
