Description

Gin bottled in the 1920s by Booth Family, a famous wine merchant established in 1569. It was in 1740 that the company began to take an interest in the world of distillation, even building a distillery at 55 Cowcross Street in London.

"Old Tom" gin is the latest example of the subtly sweetened gins that were so popular in 17th century England. The name refers to the wooden plaque of a black cat (Old Tom) that adorned the walls of pubs in the 1700s.
