Description
Lacaux Frères old rum from 1806. Very rare vestige than this vintage rum which is more than two centuries old.
The story of the Lacaux brothers, Jules and Charles, dates back to 1873 when they decided to set up a distillery comprising production workshops, cellars and employer housing. At the end of the 19th century, it was even one of the most important distilleries in Limoges with the production of bitters. During their history they will import rum, especially from Jamaica.
Their activity will last until the First World War, after which they will concentrate on the production of cardboard which will become their main industrial activity.
