Description

Gordon's London Dry Gin is developed by Alexander Gordon, a Scottish-born Londoner who opened a distillery in the Southwark area in 1769. Popular with the Royal Navy, Gin bottles are distributed worldwide and are a huge success .

In 1898, Gordon & Co. merged with Charles Tanqueray & Co. to form Tanqueray Gordon & Co. All production was then transferred to the Gordon's Goswell Road site. The first record in cookbooks of the production of Gordon's Special Old Tom dates back to 1921.
