JM 1982 15YO
Here is the very first vintage J.M Rum (1982) all dressed in leather.
A historic bottling that we owe to René Crassous de Médeuil, director of the distillery from 1930 until 1976, who was the first to try his hand at aging rums over 10 years old.
With 15 years of age on the clock, J.M vintages with leather labels have been produced every year since 1982, before which there were also "out of age" rums (pre 1982 and even pre 1974), the collar does not mentioning no year yet. Collar which moreover will disappear at the beginning of the 1990s to make way for a second label under the main one. From then on, JM's "leather" bottlings will no longer be exclusively and systematically 15 years old.
